Towards Cleaner Marinas - Industry Partnership Programme
The Industry Partnership Programme is a programme developed in partnership with the NSW Department of Environment and Conservation incorporating the Environment Protection Authority (EPA). This programme was commenced in 2002 and the Boating Industry Association was able to gain funding assistance in order to achieve cleaner production for the participating members.
The Industry Partnership Programme is the material proof of the industry's commitment to the principles of Ecologically Sustainable Development and continuous improvement.
Sydney Marine Boat Services have installed a total waste water management system All waste water is filtered and tested by Sydney Water and the Environmental Protection Authority.
